What is Guardianship?

Guardianship, or conservatorship is a legal relationship created when a person or institution is named in a will or assigned by the court is to take care of minor children, senior citizens or incompetent/incapacitated adults. A legal guardian may be entrusted to make medical decisions, financial decisions, contract agreements and other legally binding decisions.
